The upkeep of your block is paid for by collection of service charges. We need the funds paid on time to ensure we can keep to contractual commitments and keep everything maintained in accordance with our plan, your requirements and legislation.
We maintain robust collection and debt recovery procedures to ensure money is always available.
Demands, notices and reminders are sent to all residents promptly to avoid the need for costly recovery action. Debt recovery is mostly run in house at Orchard though if we are not successful in recovery solicitors are engaged. Debt recovery fees are charged to individual debtors but could impact the service charge budget. To ensure smooth running Orchard encourage all residents to pay their share promptly.
